The effective date of my move will be July 1, 2026. 

My new location will be within the offices of Form and Function Osteopathy at 1400 Bayly Street, Office Mall 1, Unit 16B, Pickering, Ontario.

My new office unit is just two buildings to the west (closer to the Go Station) of my previous office location within the same commercial complex of 3 buildings (1400, 1410 and 1420 Bayly Street). When entering the complex proceed down the laneway between 1400 Bayly Street and 1410 Bayly Street. Signs for Office Mall 1 will be on your left hand side. Enter the Office Mall 1 doors and we are the first office unit on the right.

Yes. Appointments will continue to be available to book before, during and after my move.

You are currently able to book appointments throughout the remainder of the 2026 calendar year. My 2027 booking calendar will be opening up soon.

The date and time of your upcoming appointments have not changed however the location of that appointment will depend on whether the appointment in question is before July 1, 2026 or after July 1, 2026. 

If your appointment is before July 1, 2026, then your appointment will take place in my existing office at 1420 Bayly Street, Unit 3, Pickering, Ontario.

If your appointment is after July 1, 2026, then your appointment will take place in my new office. The address will be shared with you shortly and your appointment reminder will also confirm the office location.

The best way to book appointments with me is to visit my website and click the Book Now link. This link will point you to my appointment scheduling system in use at that time.

Yes and No. On a date prior to June 30, 2026 online appointments with me on my previous office's website will be disabled and no appointments with me will be able to be booked via the Healing Power website. For this reason, I strongly encourage you, effective immediately, to use the "Book Now" link on my website at www.joannemiethke.com. This link on my website will always link you to my active appointment booking system.

Yes. I am happy to inform you that as part of this move I will be using a new appointment booking system that will be more user-friendly and will offer you more features and control such as adding your name to my  "wait list".

No. You will need to register for my new booking system, however you can register with the same credentials if you wish to. All existing patients  who have an appointment scheduled will receive a welcome email inviting you to register.

No. An important factor in this move was to ensure that my hours of availability remained the same. 

Yes. Please ensure that your current email or phone number is on file. Once on my new booking system, you will receive an initial reminder 72 hours in advance of your appointment and a second one within 24 hours of your appointment. You will also have the option to receive SMS reminders on the day of your appointment.

Yes. I will continue to offer 30, 60 and 90 minute massage treatments along with the various therapeutic services listed on my website.  However, the offering of Thai Massage will require special arrangements to be made in advance.

Your health records will continue to be secured with me in compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

No. However, for all patients who already have a future appointment scheduled with me this information has been entered into the new scheduling system. For any patient who does not already have an appointment scheduled with me this information will be required to be entered at the time of booking.

No. My rates will remain unchanged. Notice will be provided prior to any future rate increase.

Payment methods will remain the same. Cash, Interac Debit, Visa and Mastercard will continue to be accepted.

Payment by the patient will continue to be due at the time of the service. A signed receipt will be provided for you to send to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Yes. I have a record of outstanding gift cards and your valid gift card will continue to be honoured.

The 48 business hour cancellation policy will remain in effect before, during and after the move. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please be sure to do so more than 48 business hours in advance of your appointment in order to avoid being charged for your appointment.

As of June 26, 2026 all appointments will need to be booked either online at www.joannemiethke.com, directly through Joanne by phone at (416) 707-2678 or via email at joanne@joannemiethke.com. No appointments will be able to be booked with Joanne through her previous office neither by phone, email nor online after this date.
